Is stone-ground different from a regular store-bought nut butter?
Stone-grinding keeps the temperature low during processing, which protects the natural oils and flavour that heat-based grinding tends to break down.
Do the butters need to be refrigerated?
Not necessarily! Our peanut butter can be stored at room temperature in a cool, dry place for up to 3 months. For longer storage, we recommend refrigerating it to help maintain its freshness.
Why has oil separated on top of my nut butter?
It’s a sign that our butters are natural :) Since there is no additional binders added, the natural oils separate out. A quick stir before your first use brings it right back.
