Our Story
Yutori was created as a simple idea: dessert should feel good — in every way.
I spent years working as an auditor in a corporate environment before deciding to follow a quieter, more meaningful passion in creating food that's healthy, delicious, and wholesome.
After leaving my role at a multinational company, I trained in vegan cooking and baking in Goa, and worked in cafes across Goa and Bangalore, learning the craft from the inside out.
Lots of people believe that food has to be either tasty or healthy. But learning and working with like-minded people changed that perspective for me, and my love for food pushed me forward into creating Yutori.
How it began
The idea of Yutori was born in Goa, where the concept of slowing down and focusing on the present was all around me (I later found out that there is a name for it — the susegad lifestyle). When I returned back home to Hyderabad, I started baking for friends and family who were curious about healthier alternatives.
We set up stalls at flea markets throughout Hyderabad, furthering the conversation on wholesome desserts that are plant-based. On receiving positive responses and encouragement from many, we began delivering freshly-baked goods to people across the city.
From Hyderabad to Goa
Today, Yutori continues its journey from Goa, where the kitchen now prepares desserts for both local customers and ones across India.
Each recipe continues to evolve — always guided by the same philosophy of quality ingredients, thoughtful baking, and food that bring joy.
